郭總今日尚未公布50人大名單，只透露近20名旅外球員幾乎全數入列，包括陳偉殷、王建民、陽岱鋼等好手，最重要的是旅外投手的加入預計能大幅增加經典賽投手陣容的戰力。
近幾年中華職棒都呈現打高投低的狀況，郭總表示：「不知道是國內打者太強，還是投手壓制力比較不足，不過以成績看來、中職投手的確缺乏宰制力，所以投手部分預計將會以旅外球員為主。」
旅外投手：王建民、陳偉殷、羅國華、胡智為、王維中、江少慶、宋文華、曾仁和、陳冠宇、宋家豪、郭俊麟、李振昌等人。
