印地安人隊4局上Jose Ramirez先敲出安打，Lonnie Chisenhall獲保送，Coco Crisp犧牲觸擊，跑者上二壘及三壘，Tyler Naquin適時擊出安打，打回2分。紅襪隊5局下Xander Bogaerts、Andrew Benintendi連續安打，扳回1分。
印地安人第三站 出類拔萃 鶴立雞群篇 賓果技巧隊6局上Jose Ramirez獲保送，Coco Crisp轟出2分彈，一棒拉開領先差距。紅襪隊一路苦苦追趕，6局下Dustin Pedroia、Mookie Betts連續安打，老爹高飛犧牲打，打回第2分。
紅襪隊8局下Travis Shaw先敲安打，老爹獲保送，Hanley Ramirez再敲安打，打回第3分。即使到了9局下，紅襪隊仍有攻勢，兩出局之後Jackie Bradley擊出安打，Dustin Pedroia獲保送，可惜Travis Shaw擊出右外野飛球遭接殺，印地安人隊拿到最後勝利。
